How YOU will benefit Flexible and inspired work—bringing your talents to life through therapy Create a sense of peace for patients and families during final moments Build connections and honor life stories Ability to work independently while also having team support Job stability and regular advancement opportunities with a growing company As a Music Therapist You will: Assess patients’ functional status, musical responses, and preferences Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet goals Deliver music therapy using instruments, singing, movement, and listening Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly and update care team Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on treatment plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in music therapy from an AMTA-approved program
  • Board-certified (MT-BC) by CBMT
  • Valid driver’s license with insured, reliable vehicle
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life issues

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years clinical music therapy experience
