About The Position
As a Music Therapist in MJTC, you will perform the following duties: design, coordinate, implement and evaluate the therapeutic programming in conformance with unit goals and treatment methods. participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. serve as a member of the Rehabilitation Services Department. train students from related disciplines. program evaluation and research.
Requirements
- Certification as a Music Therapist through the National Board for Music Therapists or similar organization that accredits Music Therapists.
- Ability to work scheduled hours as needed, which may include evenings.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience providing music therapy services.
- Experience with adolescents with behavior issues and/or psychiatric needs.
- Experience analyze and evaluate behavior change and treatment effectiveness.
