About The Position

The Music Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools is responsible for fostering a love for music among scholars and developing a robust musical program across the network. The teacher will engage in professional development and provide rigorous music lessons that emphasize creating, performing, and responding to artistic works.

Requirements

• Have or will receive a Bachelor's degree prior to the start date
• Achieved outstanding academic results
• Track record of success in engaging students in music
• Passionate about music and learning
• Teaching experience with knowledge of music materials and resources
• Understanding of the cultural dimensions and contributions of music
• Set ambitious goals and work hard to achieve them
• Confidence and presence to inspire others
• Enjoy collaborating with others
• Leadership experience in clubs or teams
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
