About The Position
A Dawn Of Music Studios is seeking a dedicated and skilled Music Teacher specializing in voice to join our team in San Diego, CA. With over 30 years of experience in the music education field, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality music instruction to learners of all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to foster a balanced approach to skill development and performance, tailored to the individual goals of each student. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering private lessons, engaging with students, and contributing to their musical growth in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be an independent contractor who is passionate about music education and has a strong background in teaching and performance. You will be expected to teach lessons at various levels, accommodating both individual and group settings. Punctuality is essential, as you will need to arrive at the lesson location 10-15 minutes early to prepare for each session. We are looking for someone who is currently taking private lessons themselves, as this experience can enhance your teaching effectiveness. In this role, you will be required to maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrate patience and perseverance, and possess excellent communication skills. You will interact with a diverse range of students and their parents, necessitating a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct. Your ability to self-manage, stay organized, and be resourceful will be crucial in creating a positive learning experience for your students. We encourage flexibility and a willingness to explore new teaching methods to keep lessons engaging and effective.
