About The Position

We are seeking a Music Teacher and Assistant to the Principal to join Incarnation Catholic School's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching music classes, overseeing the music curriculum, and providing administrative support to the school's principal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field.
• Teaching certification or license.
• Proven experience in teaching music to students of varying ages.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging music lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum, direct a Christmas show and a Spring Musical
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Coordinate music events, performances, and competitions.
• Assist the principal with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records, among other duties.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills.
