About The Position
The position involves providing technical and musical instruction to a Collegiate Glee Club, including training for performances at national and regional venues. Responsibilities include auditioning and selecting members, providing group and individual instruction, and preparing music and special arrangements based on available material and requirements. The role also entails evaluating inquiries for performances, booking events, scheduling trips, and coordinating travel and equipment needs. Additionally, the position involves planning and supervising the production of Glee Club recordings and developing relationships with both collegiate and external organizations. The individual will also work to provide exposure for the Glee Club at various venues and perform other assigned duties.
