About The Position

The Department of Music in the College of Arts & Letters at The University of Tampa is accepting applications for part-time music faculty in all classroom and applied areas. Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer. Requirements

• Master's or other advanced degree preferred. In limited special circumstances extensive professional experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create a syllabus and course-related materials.
• Teach course(s) according to departmental guidelines.
• Provide meeting times with students outside of class as needed.
• Complete course grading and submit final grades through an on-line system.
