About The Position

Position encompasses various avenues to provide an exceptional patient experience for the Ambulatory Clinics at MUSC Clements Ferry Medical Pavilion. The guest Services Concierge will support patients’ entry to the clinic and escorting individuals to their clinic location. They will also have general knowledge of managing building repairs, training security guards in all facets of customer service, and working with MUSC Property Managers to coordinate repairs at the Health West site. Assist patients with wayfinding and maintain assist and educate patients on the use of the Kiosk based systems throughout the clinic.

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• 0-6 months of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative coverage for front desk team members with the prioritization of maintaining a positive experience for all patients.
• Complete client registration and documentation.
• Schedule interpreters for clients.
• Retrieve billing charges.
• Communicate on behalf of the patient with medical transport companies regarding pick up time and assist patient until transport arrives.
• Assist security with process of inmates scheduled for medical services to ensure safety.
• Handle calls from care team involving EMS services.
