We are looking for a Munitions Material Management Specialist to support the Department of Army, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G4. The successful candidate will provide analysis and recommendations in support of G-44S Munitions Division. The candidate will support in developing, evaluating and fielding logistical analysis tools and displays; utilize various database tools including but not limited to Oracle Suite, MS Access, and other database management systems to analyze logistical information stored within and compiled from an array of sources in order to provide historical and current data to the HQDA G-4 Munitions Division Staff.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required
  • Extensive experience with munitions management and accountability
  • Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use utilize various logistics reporting tools to prepare requests for information and prepare specific reports, summaries, graphs, and charts
  • Possess strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously with high standards for personal performance. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and adaptable to flexible work styles, environments, and locations.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task across concurrent initiatives
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders. Comfortable interacting with General Officers and Senior Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis and recommendations for Munitions Asset Management.
  • Provide analysis of munitions logistics data to develop requirements in support of POM submission and review.
  • Provide support to develop concepts, plans, policies, and procedures for allocation and distribution, receipts, storage, issue, accountability, stockpile reliability, asset reporting, maintenance, renovation, demilitarization, toxic chemical storage, Audit Readiness, and disposal.
  • Provide analysis on specific data queries on munitions worldwide and theater data in support of operational requirements.
  • Perform data pulls from enterprise systems including, but not limited to GCSS-Army, LIW, AESIP, Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS), Munitions Readiness Report (MRR), Munitions Transportation Management System (MTMS), Munitions History Program (MHP), and Worldwide Ammunition Reporting System (WARS) to produce reports.
