We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Civil Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in our Lehi or Salt Lake City office. What You’ll Do As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and delivering projects that matter. Working closely with the Office Manager and a team of talented professionals, you’ll:

Requirements

A Professional Engineer (PE) License in Utah or the ability to obtain one within six months.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Technical expertise in civil engineering services, including land development, utilities, grading, surveying, construction oversight, and planning.
Proven experience (7+ years) in land development/municipal projects.
A track record of leading project teams and mentoring engineers and designers.
Strong proposal writing, contract management, and client management skills.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Civil3D design software.
Knowledge of Utah drainage requirements and municipal design codes.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
Lead efforts to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Deliver progress updates and reports, showcasing your ability to drive results.
Uphold the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
Mentor junior team members while growing our presence in the Utah region.
