Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• AZ CNA license on hire or LNA license on hire.
• Competency in EKG Interpretation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
• Performing a variety of basic patient care activities under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
• Monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Reporting abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Keeping patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Performing clerical duties aligned with nursing station activities.
