Multiskilled Facilities Engineers are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all areas in the hospital. Engineers will be required to consistently respond to work orders, emergencies and scheduled maintenance in a timely fashion. Engineers must be able to work by Hoag standards in a safe and orderly process, foster a work environment that promotes continuous improvement of engineering functions and actively functions as a team member and demonstrates commitment to quality of service. The Multiskilled Facilities Engineer works with Life Safety systems, fire alarm, FM-200, nurse call, methane detection, water detection, intercom, antenna, security systems, and medical gas. Will also monitor cooling, heating, and ventilation areas utilizing the Hospital’s building management systems. In addition, the Multiskilled Facilities Engineer will correctly performs basic repairs to lighting systems.
