As a Make-Ready Technician on the Performance Management team, you will play a key role in preparing apartment homes for new residents. This position focuses on unit turns, punch work, painting, and in-unit repairs to ensure every home is fully move-in ready and meets company quality standards. Requirements

  • Experience with make-ready, punch, or unit turn work preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and drywall repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow punch lists and quality standards
  • Available for occasional on-call or emergency support if required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Reliable transportation to and from work each day
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch, and use ladders
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in apartment, residential, retail, or commercial maintenance is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Complete make-ready and unit turn work for vacant apartment homes
  • Perform punch list items and quality checks before move-in
  • Complete interior painting and touch ups
  • Perform drywall and minor carpentry repairs
  • Assist with appliance installation and replacements
  • Complete basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Support basic HVAC troubleshooting tasks
  • Help maintain clean, safe, and attractive units and common areas
  • Work closely with maintenance supervisors and service technicians
  • Coordinate with vendors when needed for turn completion
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and compliance requirements
  • Support additional maintenance projects based on property needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
