About The Position

Securitas Northern New England is hiring Multiple Full Time and Part Time Security Officers at a variety of Hospital Resource Buildings in Portland and Westbrook, Maine. Our ideal candidate(s) are former/current military, former law enforcement, from a security background or from a healthcare setting. While that is preferred, it is not a requirement and we are happy to teach, train and mentor individuals with less experience. Our healthcare security officers provide crucial support at the hospital and work in close collaboration with medical center clinical staff to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff and visitors.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a hospital setting.
• High level of professionalism.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Dependability.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 18 years old.
