Margaritaville Resort Casino is changing entertainment and invites individuals to join their team. They are hosting a hiring event on March 24, 2022, from 10am-1pm and 3pm-6pm within the Palace Theatre, welcoming walk-ins. The company fosters a fun environment, emphasizes superior customer service, and provides fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests. They are hiring for the following positions: Bartenders (tipped), Barbacks (tipped), Casino Cashier, Table Games Dealer (tipped), Table Games Dual-Rate Floor Person/Dealer (tipped), Food Server (tipped), Beverage / Cocktail Server, Pool Attendant, Slot Attendant. Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

Requirements

  • Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Able to work in constricting areas
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
  • Provide fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests
  • Serve as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
  • Provide personalized service and uses guest name
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
  • Be respectful to all co-workers
  • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
  • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service
