About The Position
We currently have an opportunity for a Multinational Underwriting Consultant to join our growing Intact Specialty Multinational team in either our Anaheim, CA or San Francisco, CA offices on a hybrid basis, or for the right candidate, fully remote within the Western Time Zone (California preferred). The Multinational Underwriting Consultant manages a book of highly complex, multinational specialty accounts, within their authority level, for Technology and Life Science clients in their assigned territory. Also provides multinational underwriting support for Financial Services, Entertainment and Ocean Cargo insureds as needed. Coverage offerings include both non-admitted foreign package coverages (Global Property, Global GL, International Contingent Auto, Employer's Responsibility, Business Travel Accident, and Kidnap & Ransom) as well as the design and implementation of controlled master programs (CMP's) which would include admitted foreign local placements (Property, GL, WC/EL) through our owned Intact/RSA Global Network, which offers capabilities in 150+ countries and territories. This position provides technical underwriting, coverage, and regulatory consultation to both internal colleagues and external producers/brokers/agents and insureds. This role also assists with the development and execution of strategic initiatives that contribute to the growth and profitability of the business. Candidate should be dynamic in nature and will furnish both technical experience as well as the ability to build out key distribution relationships.
