About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Multimodality Imaging Technologist to join our team! The Multimodality Imaging Technologist performs imaging procedures and patient care within diagnostic x-ray and one (1) or more advanced imaging modality. The advanced imaging modalities include CT, MRI, mammography, or interventional radiology (IR). The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I will function independently and must meet all the minimum qualifications and requirements for the modalities in which they practice.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program.
  • 1 year of radiology/imaging experience preferred.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • License Radiographer in the state of practice required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an advanced modality preferred.
  • Certification in an advanced modality through ARRT preferred (CT, M, MR, VI, or CI).

Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures and patient care within diagnostic x-ray and advanced imaging modalities.
  • Function independently in the modalities practiced.
