Multimodality Imaging Technologist I - Weekends
About The Position
HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland is seeking a weekend Multimodality Imaging Technologist. The ideal candidates will perform imaging procedures and patient care within diagnostic x-ray and one (1) or more advanced imaging modality. The advanced imaging modalities include CT, MRI, mammography, or interventional radiology (IR). The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I will function independently and must meet all the minimum qualifications and requirements for the modalities in which they practice. Requirements
- Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- License Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of radiology/imaging experience is preferred.
- Experience working in an advanced modality is preferred.
- Certification in an advanced modality through ARRT is preferred (Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Vascular Interventional (VI), or Cardiac Interventional (CI)).
