About The Position

As a Multimedia Video Editor at Janus Henderson, you will be responsible for editing corporate videos for both external and internal audiences, ensuring that all content adheres to brand guidelines. You will provide timely and efficient service while understanding the unique needs of each client. Your role will involve capturing video and audio using professional equipment, maintaining the in-house video studio, and developing relationships across the organization. You will thrive under pressure, work well in a team, and support the development of new products and processes.

Requirements

• Clear understanding of video editing techniques
• Proficient with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proficient with Adobe After Effects
• Experience with Apple/Mac computers
• Understanding of video cameras and basic lighting techniques

Nice To Haves

• 3D animation experience
• Experience with PTZ/robotic cameras
• Understanding of video hosting platforms and social media sites
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge
• Experience with cinema and DSLR cameras and lenses
• Experience with livestreaming/webcast production
• Experience with podcasting or audio production
• Experience with still photography and headshots
• Experience creating social media video content for a corporation
• Experience with video hosting platforms such as Brightcove or Frame.io
• Experience with Workfront
• Experience with Media Asset Management or a related sector

Responsibilities

• Edit corporate videos for external and internal audiences and various methods of distribution
• Understand the brand and ensure videos adhere to guidelines
• Provide timely, efficient service to the business and adhere to agreed deadlines
• Be customer-focused and tailor corporate guidelines to meet individual client needs
• Capture video and audio using professional cameras in studio or out in the field
• Help maintain in-house video studio for live and pre-taped videos
• Establish and develop relationships with people at all levels within the business
• Thrive under pressure and work well within a team environment and on own initiative
• Support the team in the development of new products, systems, and processes suitable for Janus Henderson and external client needs
• Carry out other duties as assigned
