Operate, support, and facilitate audiovisual equipment in video conference rooms and teaching spaces. Ensure video conference spaces (lights, projector and screen, computer, audio, and other audio/visual accessories) are ready for teaching and learning daily. Respond immediately when called from a video conference session to troubleshoot, repair, and make adjustments (or work-arounds) to get the video conference back on track as soon as possible. Follow up with support and repairs as soon as room is available. Advise faculty members and staff members on appropriate use of audiovisual equipment. Provide instruction and guidance for faculty members and staff members needing assistance in becoming familiar with equipment. Make suggestions regarding presentation software and preparations (leading to successful educational experiences) that need to take place outside of the classroom. Develop and implement new techniques, systems, and procedures to enhance video conference based teaching and lecturing. Recognize system limitations related to teaching and make recommendations to manager regarding equipment modifications or replacement. Consider adaptations to current workflows and discusses them with faculty members, staff members and management. Participate in audiovisual projects for learning space renovations and updates. Represent faculty members and staff members when considering changes in room technology. Assist with physical implementation and documentation of updates and changes.
