About Educational Development and Engagement Our primary focus is advancing the mission of Texas A&M AgriLife. The Multimedia Project Specialist II, under minimal supervision, creates and updates educational multimedia content (including videos, photos, and audio), coordinates with SMEs as appropriate, and mentors/trains less experienced employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Knowledge of the Adobe Suite (including Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, and Photoshop).
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor others.
• Ability to commute to the Texas A&M campus in College Station, as this is not a remote position.
• Ability to lift, transport, and set-up heavy equipment.
• Drives and travels as needed to perform duties.
• Travel up to 25% required.
• Work beyond normal office hours including evenings and work on weekends may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create high quality multimedia content that supports AgriLife’s programming and mission.
• Assists video production from intake through completion, including without limitation: scripting, storyboarding, equipment management, filming, and editing.
• Collaborates with the Instructional Design team on content development.
• Assists with mentoring/teaching less experienced employees.
• Acts as the senior team member/decision-maker on shoots.
• Reviews multimedia prior to publication.
• Maintains multimedia libraries including videos, photos, graphics, and animations.
• Develops educational multimedia according to internal quality standards, branding and style guides, and accessibility requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
