About The Position

The Multimedia Production Specialist I, under general supervision, supports development of creative multimedia projects. Provides video production services and creative content support for athletics’ social media channels, video board shows and team recruiting needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Videography Standards.
  • Ability to Communicate & Collaborate with a Team of Full-Time Employees & Student Workers.
  • Ability to Multi-Task and Work Cooperatively with Others.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Audition.
  • Understanding of Asset Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of Daktronics System Interfaces.
  • A Creative Eye & Technical Knowledge of Cinematic Cameras.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Creative Content Will create and oversee all creative video content that is produced for their assigned teams. Will work alongside other external departments to facilitate demands and storyboard ideas for content execution on their teams’ social media channels and other digital platforms.
  • Video Board Creative Content Will plan & create video board content for their assigned team’s live home events alongside fellow 12MP in-stadium producers. Will work alongside sponsorship & marking departments to implement sponsorship moments with-in the run of show. Will also work with similar areas to push engagement with the 12th Man and create a unique home field advantage that strives to be the best in college athletics.
  • Creative for Special Projects Will be assigned various creative projects that are outside the scope of specific team content for the betterment of the athletic department as a whole.
  • Team Recruiting Creative Content Coordinate with assigned teams’ staff to develop a creative content strategy that best supports our team and its student athletes.
  • Managing & Developing Student Staff Will be given a crew of students for each sport to help execute creative plan. The staff member will be asked to manage & cultivate growth from their student resources. 12th Man Productions employs a staff of over 80 students and are known for producing quality graduates into the field. It is one of our department’s goals to continue this tradition.
