About The Position

The Multimedia Producer at the University of Colorado Denver is responsible for creating engaging multimedia content that supports the university's communications and marketing efforts. This role focuses on producing video and photography that resonates with prospective students and enhances the university's brand identity. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality content in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in videography, photography, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in producing video content.
• Proven ability to create multimedia content for various audiences and formats.
• Demonstrated understanding of professional video equipment, including DSLR cameras, 4K video capture, audio/mics, and lighting.
• Experience using After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency using content management systems.
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator), Lightroom, Photoshop, and social media platforms.
• Knowledge or experience with using teleprompters for video shoots.

Responsibilities

• Produce multimedia content, including video and photography, to support online education and university communications projects.
• Capture video, take photos, and coordinate shoots in collaboration with the Creative Content team.
• Perform interviews, gather information, and develop storyboards for multimedia projects.
• Support the preparation of materials for the digital asset management system.
• Maintain inventory and help manage multimedia equipment.
• Develop a multimedia calendar that aligns with other Creative Content production schedules.
