About The Position

Telemundo Nashville, operated within WSMV 4, is seeking a bilingual Multimedia Journalist who can connect with Middle Tennessee's growing Spanish-language community and deliver impactful, platform-optimized content.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a multimedia journalist or general assignment reporter
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Strong live reporting ability with solid news judgment
• Proven shooting and editing skills
• Understanding of digital and social media trends and best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Develop, research, and pitch original enterprise stories that resonate with Spanish-speaking audiences in Middle Tennessee
• Shoot, write, edit, and present stories for Telemundo Nashville's newscasts and digital platforms
• Deliver clear, confident, and engaging live reports in the field and in-studio
• Optimize content for WSMV and Telemundo platforms, including broadcast, streaming, website, app, and social media
• Build strong contacts within the Spanish-language community to enterprise meaningful local stories
• Participate in daily editorial meetings and contribute story ideas and angles
