About The Position

KIMA-TV is seeking a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) responsible for reporting, shooting, and editing news stories. The role involves generating story ideas, developing contacts, and producing daily content across various platforms, including television and social media.

Requirements

• Reporting experience is required.
• Excellent technical skills in video production and editing.
• Sharp news judgment and storytelling ability.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with live shots is a plus.
• Editing experience with Avid Media Composer is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, and edit news stories.
