About The Position

The Multimedia Intern provides video and audio production outreach
by capturing and editing engaging video and podcast content for use in AWI’s
storytelling, social media, and other marketing efforts. This position supports
the Alabama Water Institute (AWI) Communications Team.

Requirements

• Current University of Alabama undergraduate student in good academic standing.
• Understanding of audio and video production, including video and DSLR camera operations, filming and photography techniques.
• Proficiency with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition.
• Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Basic audio editing skills.
• Creative storytelling skills.
• Ability to present academic research in an engaging and accessible way through visual media.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves
