Requirements

  • Completed graduate degree or certificate in art, graphic design, or a closely related field.
  • Three or more years of full-time professional experience in design or a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development or instructional design.
  • Familiarity with higher education applications and platforms such as LMS and Adobe.
  • Proficiency in a language other than English.

Responsibilities

  • Meet all scheduled classes, labs, and clinics as per the approved course outline.
  • Utilize diverse teaching methods to reach students of varying educational backgrounds.
  • Maintain current and relevant course syllabi and materials.
  • Organize subject matter and course objectives effectively.
  • Encourage students to achieve their goals and relate coursework to real-life experiences.
  • Keep scheduled office hours and provide regular student support.
  • Participate in departmental and college-level assessments of student learning outcomes.
  • Assist with curriculum review, development, and implementation within the department.
  • Serve on college committees and assist with divisional activities as requested.
