Summary Statement: The Multimedia Editor plays a pivotal role in our marketing team, focusing on editing compelling video and photo content that promotes our resort's amenities and attractions. This position requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and organizational skills, particularly in planning and organizing shoots to ensure efficient and high-quality content production. Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to: Edit video and photo content that aligns with marketing goals and brand identity, using storytelling techniques to captivate our audience. Organize and coordinate video and photo shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, marketing team members, and other departments to plan and execute shoots. Manage post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, retouching, and sound design, to create polished, professional content. Contribute creative ideas for new content and improvements to production processes. Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to: Expertise in video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro). Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual aesthetics. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred: Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting. Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, or related industry. Knowledge of the latest video and photo production trends and technology. Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Photography, or related field. 3+ years of video and photo editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
