About The Position

The Multimedia Design Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and producing a variety of multimedia content, including educational websites, graphics, animations, audio, and video productions. This role supports departmental and program needs while assisting in public information and media relations efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Media Production, Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field and one year of experience in audio-visual production.
• Associate's degree in a related field and two years of experience in audio-visual production.
• Experience with editing tools software, broadcasting equipment, and photography.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in event coordination and execution.
• Familiarity with social media management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain multimedia for training, communications, and public information.
• Create multimedia-based layouts, graphics, animations, videos, and sound for presentations and electronic media.
• Update websites and perform technical duties in video and audio production.
• Run audio board during live webcasts and manage media bandwidth for video streaming.
• Operate non-linear video and audio editing equipment and edit special effects for productions.
• Prepare logos, training materials, newsletters, and other materials using graphic design software.
• Compose, edit, and proofread copy for accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in planning and executing public relations and marketing activities.
• Write newsletters, press releases, and arrange for media interviews.
• Maintain social media information and perform special projects as assigned.
