About The Position

Our Blood Institute is actively looking for a Multimedia Content Creator & Paid Social Strategist who is a dynamic and creative content creator to lead our organic and paid social media strategy and content creation efforts. This role blends hands-on content production, storytelling, and performance-driven paid social execution to drive donor engagement, increase digital brand awareness, and support donor conversion. The ideal candidate will travel to donor centers to capture impactful video and photo content highlighting donors, staff, and our mission, while also strategically amplifying that content through paid social campaigns to reach priority audiences at scale. As a public-facing representative, the Content Creator, Multimedia & Paid Social Strategist will actively engage with the online community, foster conversations, collaborate with local and national partners, and serve as a digital ambassador at events. This role is distinct from traditional PR and press, focusing instead on digital engagement, online advocacy, and performance marketing through paid social channels.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and paid social advertising.
  • Strong storytelling, video production, photography, and short-form video skills.
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign metrics (CTR, video completion rate, conversions) and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Comfort serving as a public-facing digital representative.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated organic and paid social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and donor engagement.
  • Create, manage, and optimize engaging content across multiple social platforms (organic and paid).
  • Capture and produce compelling video and photo content from donor centers, events, and community activations.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to amplify key messages, donor drives, and campaigns.
  • Manage paid social budgets, audience targeting, and creative testing to maximize performance.
  • Serve as an online spokesperson, fostering digital community interactions and responding to engagement.
  • Collaborate with local and national partners to support co-branded and sponsored campaigns.
  • Represent the organization at events as a brand ambassador and content lead.
  • Analyze performance data and translate insights into content and media optimizations.
