As a Multimedia Audio Visual Technician at Waveguide LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of audiovisual equipment and services for various corporate events. Your primary responsibilities will include repairing, maintaining, upgrading, and installing AV equipment for clients, as well as coordinating conference guests and business services for multipurpose conference rooms. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting equipment issues and assisting clients in conducting meetings in conference spaces, ensuring that all technical aspects run smoothly. In this position, you will manage events for multipurpose rooms, general floor conference rooms, and all other meeting spaces. This includes overseeing the holistic meeting experience by setting up and breaking down furniture, ensuring the cleanliness of the room, and completing all necessary tasks to create an inviting environment. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of all audio-visual equipment in managed spaces, ensuring that AV systems have the latest firmware and software installed, and updating them as necessary. Your role will require you to provide high-touch customer service, ensuring that conference functions are placed in properly sized rooms to maximize space utilization. You will assist Tier 2 with hardware swaps as needed, manage IT service management (ITSM) requests, and handle issues as they arise through the proper administrative channels. Additionally, you will follow established protocols during emergency situations and perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and the events being hosted.
