About The Position

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. The Facilities and Communication Security team is responsible for creating and maintaining a secure environment for Google Public Sector's operations and cleared workforce. Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,500-$128,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience supporting DoD and IC security programs, or equivalent security-related experience.
  • Experience with industrial security procedures outlined in 32 CFR Part 117, ICDs, and ISOIs.
  • Experience with administrative tasks related to SCIF operation.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in CDSE (e.g., Program Security Officer Curriculum).
  • Experience working with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and Department of Defense (DOD) government regulations for US government contractors.
  • Experience working with security information management systems, including USG clearance repositories and local databases (i.e., SIMS).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain cleared employee/agreement tracking systems (e.g., SIMS, DISS) to process personnel security actions.
  • Administer and coordinate initial and refresher security training and awareness programs for cleared personnel.
  • Assist in executing all security program requirements for classified agreements, ensuring adherence to Industrial Security procedures in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and intelligence community directives.
  • Support the administration of policies and procedures for managing and safeguarding government classified information and assets.
