About The Position
We are currently seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility located in Auburn, AL, 36830. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC troubleshooting skills, electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and hydraulics experience. This position is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment. The technician will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing any mechanical or electrical issues that arise. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, with an emphasis on minimizing downtime and optimizing equipment performance. The Multicraft Maintenance Technician will work with a diverse array of machinery, including conveyor systems, production lines, packaging equipment, and hydraulic systems. The technician will utilize their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues promptly, identify root causes of malfunctions, and implement effective solutions. This position also involves performing electrical repairs and installations, conducting mechanical repairs, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems. In addition to technical skills, the technician will be expected to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, generate reports on equipment performance, and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaboration with production teams and other stakeholders is essential to coordinate maintenance activities and provide technical support as needed.
