About The Position

Aerotek is seeking 4 multicraft maintenance technicians for the PM shift in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves the installation and repair of various equipment, requiring both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Technicians will work with a range of equipment, including older and newer systems, and will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance as well as reliability testing.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience in maintenance or related field.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance repair.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley.
• Experience with welding and conveyor maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Fanuc robots.
• Knowledge of servomotors and gearboxes.
• Experience in automation and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including working with 480v and 3 phase motors.
• Read blueprints and schematics for mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Perform reliability testing on various systems.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
