Keep the line running — and make it better every day At Aegis Worldwide, you’ll be the go-to expert who keeps production assets safe, reliable, and efficient. Picture starting your day by reviewing CMMS work orders, prioritizing critical items, and coordinating with procurement to ensure the right parts are on hand. Before lunch, you might swap a gearbox, replace a large bearing, or complete an extruder screw change during planned downtime. In the afternoon, you’ll collaborate with contractors or OEMs on a modification, update performance metrics, and log precise maintenance records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completed vocational training in Industrial Maintenance or at least 2 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance capabilities.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and boom lifts.
  • Clear communication, solid organization, and practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and optimize production machinery and facility systems across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic disciplines.
  • Tackle heavy repairs such as gearbox replacements and large bearing changes with a safety-first mindset.
  • Complete routine planned tasks, including extruder screw and grinder blade changes, to keep uptime high.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime and support KPIs.
  • Install and modify new and existing equipment; implement engineering changes and capital projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate equipment performance metrics and detailed maintenance documentation in the CMMS.
  • Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, vendors, and machine shops for repairs and installations.
  • Work with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of parts and materials.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Manager to enhance and refine the CMMS for better planning and tracking.
  • Ensure all tools, machines, and building systems meet safety and operational standards; follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures; keep the work area organized and hazard-free.
