Multi-Unit Restaurant HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
About The Position
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria has an hourly full-time HVAC and Refrigeration Technician position available. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Repair HVAC and/or Refrigeration equipment in a restaurant setting · Act as team player in the Repair and Maintenance Department and take turns on after-hours calls. · Communicate and trouble shoot with restaurant managers to prevent equipment breakdowns. · Make miscellaneous repairs at our restaurant locations and corporate offices (electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.) REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: · Must have at least 3 years' experience in HVAC and Refrigerated Kitchen Equipment. · Necessary to have a strong understanding of Basic Electrical and Plumbing. · Ability to effectively communicate with team members and store managers. · Must have follow-up and organizational skills along with a strong attention to detail. · Flexibility to work varied hours/days including evenings, holidays and weekends as well. · Must be able and willing to freely access all areas of our locations; stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb and move about the locations and move heavy equipment and machinery. · Clean driving record and valid driver's license - will be supplied company truck and tools PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: · This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and a variety of other technology. · Required to stand; walk; use of hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to lift office products and supplies up to 75 pounds. · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. · Minimal travel may be expected for this position if the need arises in an out of start market.
