About The Position

The Multi-Unit Manager (MUM) at European Wax Center plays a critical leadership role, overseeing operations and performance across two centers. This position is designed for high-performing leaders who can balance their time and focus evenly between both locations, ensuring consistent operational excellence, team development, and business growth. The MUM will partner closely with each center’s leadership team to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and overall profitability while cultivating a pipeline of future leaders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of high-performance management experience, preferably in beauty, wellness, or retail environments.
  • Proven track record of driving KPIs and profitability through strong team leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple teams or locations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance priorities and travel between centers effectively.
  • Passion for the beauty and wellness industry and alignment with the EWC brand.

Responsibilities

  • Provide equal leadership presence and strategic support across both centers.
  • Allocate time strategically to ensure balanced coaching, team engagement, and accountability in each location.
  • Mentor Assistant Managers, Center Managers, or Managers-in-Training to strengthen leadership depth and performance.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and developing high-performing team members in both centers.
  • Lead by example in fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with EWC values.
  • Conduct recurring training and workshops to support district- or company-wide initiatives.
  • Dedicate regular, scheduled time in both centers each week to monitor operations, performance, and guest experience.
  • Maintain open daily communication with both leadership teams to coach, support, and ensure alignment on key goals.
  • Adjust time allocation as needed based on performance trends, staffing needs, and business priorities to ensure balanced success across both centers.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, protocols, and procedures in both locations.
  • Oversee scheduling, inventory, merchandising, cleanliness, and SOP compliance consistently.
  • Model operational excellence and support emerging leaders through hands-on leadership.
  • Partner with Center Managers to establish consistency and alignment in operational execution.
  • Drive KPIs and financial results across both centers, ensuring each location meets or exceeds targets for service sales, retail, wax pass conversion, guest retention, and labor optimization.
  • Analyze performance data from both centers to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Support local marketing, guest acquisition, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to recommend and execute growth strategies that benefit both centers.
  • Ensure full compliance with EWC policies, labor laws, and state board regulations in both centers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for training, compliance, and certifications.
