Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
  • Ability to balance multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
  • Set goals, evaluate performance, and develop a high performing team.
  • Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak vacation periods.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • High level of accountability for all retail store functions and for communicating and implementing the company vision.
  • Direct day-to-day activities of the entire store staff.
  • Drive high-performance results within a fast-paced, demanding solutions sales environment.
  • Focus on optimizing customer and employee experience.
  • Act as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager.
  • Complete trainings and attend weekly sales leadership calls.
  • Motivate your team to do their best in every guest interaction.
  • Build, develop, and mentor your sales team.
  • Teach, coach, and follow our sales process with Every Guest Every Time.
  • Attract and retain top caliber employees.
  • Provide ongoing sales training and support for your team.
  • Engage in sales strategy development to effectively showcase products and services.
  • Ensure store employees meet and/or exceed defined monthly success measurements.
  • Develop and implement sales tools and initiatives.
  • Maintain performance of your store by running retail inventory compliance.
  • Engage in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and providing sales reports.
  • Think of innovative ways to drive traffic in stores.
  • Own store success and take ownership for store employees' work-related needs.
  • Own all guest escalations and provide timely resolution.
  • Clearly communicate company objectives and priorities to team members.
