About The Position

Caliber Car Wash was founded in 2018 in Atlanta, GA, with the goal of building a “best in class” car wash company focused on improving the customer experience. Currently, the company operates over 50 locations across the southeast and Texas, with projected growth to over 100 sites in the next three years. Caliber is dedicated to serving its communities through superior customer service. The company is seeking a solutions-oriented, proactive, service industry leader for a full-time Multi-Store Manager position. This role will serve as a leader for 2+ sites in the operation of brand new, state-of-the-art express tunnel car washes. The Multi-Store Manager will work directly under the District Manager and is responsible for upholding Caliber Standards for all personnel under their supervision. This role provides direction for multiple Assistant Store Managers (ASMs) and acts as the primary support for designated sites, conveying the Caliber culture and being a creative team player dedicated to Caliber Car Wash.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • For external hire: Minimum of 6 months of multi-unit management with a proven record of success required, preferably in the carwash or similar quick-serve style industries.
  • For external hire: Minimum of 3 years of single-site management with a record of a success in increasing site’s volume and revenue or promotions to higher-volume sites.
  • For internal promotion: Minimum of six months as a Store Manager with Caliber
  • For internal promotion: Budget, Revenue and conversion at 10% or above according to plan
  • For internal promotion: NPS score minimum 50
  • For internal promotion: Employee must be in good standing and have a proven record of performance
  • Experience in an organization where he/she had specific career progression
  • Knowledge of the Car Wash industry as well as proven record of attaining KPIs
  • Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of store
  • Knowledge and skills in staffing with proven record of results
  • Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office, Jolt, Sonny’s and Asana (being able to adapt to new systems easily)
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and empower Caliber managers to higher levels of performance
  • Ability to align with Caliber Culture by balancing seriousness and having fun
  • Ability to manage basic tasks and fiscal operations for a multiple stores
  • Takes initiative in solving operational and personnel problems quickly
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage all customer service interactions
  • Ability to recognize problems and problem-solve
  • Ability to recognize personal shortcomings and willingness to improve
  • Ability to set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action for multiple Car washes
  • Ability to measure performance, objectively and subjectively as well as hold team members accountable to meeting desired performance expectations

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Mentors all positions within his/her operational area to ensure a high level of engagement and success. Maintains availability for development of all operational personnel.
  • Maintain Culture: Support, reinforce, and align decisions with Caliber’s Mantra and Core Values.
  • Training and Development: Trains and develops ASMs; manages career expectations for the team; clearly conveys standards. Ensures constant pipeline of Certified Managers is readily available.
  • Operational Assistance: Assists ASMs to ensure car washes are delivering the Caliber Standard with exceptional Customer Experience and Quality.
  • Leverage Support: Utilize support managers to identify and mitigate any needs in current business quality. Manage expectations of team members in the planning, development, and execution of operational improvement projects.
  • Develops and Manages Business Planning Processes: Works with the ASMs to develop, implement, and manage a goal-oriented business plan for each car wash; analyzes external and internal environments to detect where improvements may be made and how those improvements should be implemented.
  • Manage Strategic Initiatives: Understands and delivers the purpose and requirements of all Company programs. Assist District Manager in leading his/her respective Operational Area in the execution of these programs.
  • Financial Accountability: Works with District Manager for financial performance directly impacting car wash operations. Assist the District Manager with the financial performance of his/her team of ASMs; works with the finance team to analyze multiple car washes; makes recommendations for improvements. Accountable to all aspects of the car wash EBITDA – planning, management, and performance.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzes business trends and financial data to assess and improve site performance, both operationally and financially.
