About The Position

The position of a Multi-Skilled Operator II is responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment and assisting the other operators and craft personnel in their duties.
Job is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.

Requirements

• Intermediate level, 3-5 years of experience.
• Provides technical/functional and/or administrative support.
• General working knowledge of specific systems, terminology and procedures used within the department.
• Performs routine tasks.
• Able to solve problems and make basic decisions.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices
• Must live within 45 miles of Kenedy, TX

Nice To Haves

• College Degree or Technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.
• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance
