About The Position
CBS Sacramento is seeking a full-time multimedia journalist who will embrace our Community Journalism initiative. The candidate will have a proven and demonstrated ability to comfortably, confidently and conversationally communicate with interviewees and viewers. The ideal candidate will create enterprising and engaging content that meets CBS Sacramento’s mission of Getting Answers for our audiences on all platforms. The candidate must be able to report scripted and unscripted news and features in both live and recorded formats. It is crucial to guide viewers smoothly through accountability and solutions-oriented journalism, breaking news situations and feature stories with words and pictures. Experience as a multimedia journalist is required.
