About The Position

The Multi-Site Security Officer position requires flexible availability to assist with site coverage for multiple client sites, with travel ranging from the Orange to Meriden area. Officers are expected to work between 30 to 40 hours per week, with shifts that include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, as well as weekends. Shifts typically range from 7 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 7 AM. The role involves monitoring and patrolling different client sites, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and providing customer service to clients' employees and customers. Officers must be able to stand for prolonged periods, walk long distances outdoors (up to 6 miles each shift), and be comfortable with incident report writing and driving full-size SUVs on site.

Requirements

• Active Connecticut State Guard Card REQUIRED
• Active Connecticut State Driver's License with reliable transportation and clean motor vehicle history
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of security experience preferred; military or law enforcement experience may substitute
• Calm, polite, and professional demeanor
• Reliable and self-motivated
• High level of customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol different client sites to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites regarding personnel and visitors.
• Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
• Respond to calls and interact with the client community.
• Write incident reports as necessary.
