About The Position

As an on-call Substitute, you’ll enjoy flexibility and may have the opportunity to work in different centers and with various age groups. Bright Horizons in Tampa, FL is hiring Substitutes to provide coverage across multiple Bright Horizons centers in the Bruce B. Down & Wesley Chapel area! Part time with VPK at varied locations from M-F with schedules as needed (hours not guaranteed) We offer competitive pay ranging from $14.10 to 17.50 per based on education and experience! Requirements

  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • Must meet VPK credential requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
