About The Position
The Meat Clerk ensures that our customers' needs are met and exceeded by delivering remarkable customer service and providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. The Meat Clerk is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and practicing safe food handling procedures. This position supports the Meat department by performing tasks such as greeting and assisting customers with questions, promoting sales within the department, preparing, packaging, labeling, and merchandising products, maintaining department standards, and assisting customer requests and special orders. The Meat Clerk handles all products in a safe, sanitary manner and keeps all areas and equipment of the department clean.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and have fun with it!
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Pre-employment drug screen required.
