About The Position

The position involves repacking and production of multipack products. The primary responsibilities include unpacking and labeling filled jars, operating machinery, packing multipacks into cases, and ensuring quality control throughout the production process. The role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Ability to use computer-based ERP systems and basic computer navigation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and label filled jars to be packed.
• Operate Arpac indexer and sealer machine.
• Pack multipacks into cases and tape closed.
• Apply finished UPC labels to all cases.
• Inspect finished product before being cased and palletized.
• Ensure that FIFO practice is used on all supplies.
• Maintain the organization of the tray label rack and ensure proper tags are on all partial boxes.
• Clean all spills and breaks as they occur in the immediate work area.
• Report machine and quality problems to Supervisor as they occur and submit work orders as necessary.
• Operate hand-held scanning device to maintain accurate inventory.
• Follow all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate, regulatory quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Perform items on Master Sanitation lists when production is not running.
• Maintain a safe environment and perform other duties in a safe manner at all times.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Function in a team-based structure and positively contribute to team-based efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Benefits

• $18.00/hour + .50 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL WITH START TIME OF 2PM OR LATER.
• Hourly Increase to $19.57/Hour at 90 Days of Employment + .50/HR Shift Differential.
