About The Position
Multi Modality Technologist Location: Crystal Lake Hospital Pay Range: $35.85-$53.77 Shfts: Various Shift differential for qualifying shifts (PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour / Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00/hour) We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan with a competitive matching contribution and paid time off. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- ARRT Radiography registration required
- ARRT Computed Tomography registration preferred (or must be obtained within one years of hire)
- IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
- WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
- Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Maintains active status in the modalities in which they practice.
- Assists the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership, completes projects, advanced level clinical duties and regular assignments as requested.
- Is competent in all exams performed within the assigned modalities.
- Corroborates patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist.
- Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
- Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
