Job Summary The Multi-Modality Technologist will operate in two or more modalities and perform various diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be experienced in CT, MR, and X-ray.  Our ideal teammate: Is a self-directed learner who is willing to apply direct feedback and self-assess in order to grow personally and professionally.  Will work under general guidance with some expectation of autonomy. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail. Has the ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Requirements

• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• CT and MR experience required

Responsibilities

• Manage paperwork including scanning into PACS to be interpret by radiologists.
• Open and close department independently.
• Complete ACR accreditation renewals.
• Train for emergency situations and have a current CPR certification.
• Perform CT, MR, and general x-ray as well as light clerical work in a private x-ray facility.
• Transmit exam images to PACS and follow through where require to ensure exam is reported, particularly STAT/Call report exams.
• Follow ALARA precautions by exercising radiation protection standards.
