The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is excited to expand imaging services at our brand-new Kiawah Pavilion ER, bringing world-class care closer to the local community. We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Multi-Modality Technologist to join our growing imaging team. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality exams and compassionate patient care. Working in a state-of-the-art facility, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure accurate results and an exceptional patient experience. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT.
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
- Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities.
- Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
- Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be familiar with age specific criteria.
Responsibilities
- Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT.
- Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed.
- Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.
