About The Position

Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time / Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist to join our Imaging Team in the Punta Gorda, FL area. We are looking for a new team member who is -positive, energetic, able to multi-task and loves patient interaction. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience! Our Multi-Modality Imaging Technologists must be able to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment while still delivering exceptional patent care and with a pleasant disposition. They are responsible for maintaining all quality control records, ACR accreditation forms, and daily logs for modality-specific areas. They must be proficient in the use of computer software, i.e.: PACS, eRad, and Athena Clinicals and Communicator. Requirements

  • Must hold a valid certification in FL, RT(CT)(MR)
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or accredited radiologic school
  • six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • strong computer skills
  • knowledge of EMR systems
  • able to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment while still delivering exceptional patent care and with a pleasant disposition

Nice To Haves

  • Athena knowledge preferred but not required
