About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist in our Radiology Department at Baptist FSED St. John's. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. At Baptist Health, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities within a collaborative hospital setting. Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
- 1-2 years Experience in one other imaging modality Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
- Registered Technologist in Vascular-Interventional Radiography ARRT (VI) Required Or
- Registered Technologist in Mammography ARRT (M) Required Or
- Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
- Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required Or
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
- Licensed Medical Imaging Technologist Required
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
- Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities.
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to meet quality and safety standards
- Work closely with radiologists and medical staff to support timely, accurate diagnoses
- Adhere to all regulatory and hospital imaging protocols
